We're glad you've expressed interest in rushing the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity at Gallaudet University. I am sure you know that life has always been full of choices. They start out pretty simple, little red wagon or big wheel, Superman or Batman but over time they grow with importance, buy or rent, stock options or IRA's? Somewhere between these childhood and adulthood choices comes your collegiate career.

College began with a choice. You chose to push yourself to achieve higher goals and strengthen your knowledge of the world. You prepared for this experience with over 12 years of schooling and growing as a person. But for all the preparation in your arrival, no one could have ever explained the millions of choices that await you on campus.

One of the most important choices you will face is whether or not to join Greek Life. While college focuses on academic achievement, the people you meet, and socialize with are the ones who help develop you as a person and strengthen your spirit. What Is Recruitment & How Do I Join?

During the school year there is held within the first several weeks of the fall and spring semester a Formal Recruitment, where underclassmen who have obtained a minimum GPA of 2.3 may participate in recruitment events and receive a bid. A BID is the formal invitation to pledge a Fraternity. At the end of our pledge term you will have proven that you deserve membership to Delta Sigma Phi, and you become an Active Brother of the Chapter.

Every year, Men of Eta Psi Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi are looking for 10-20 new pledges (new members) for the chapter. If you or anyone you know is interested in being a Delta Sig, please contact us.
